PDF file format
This quality format is the most appropriate to send a clean document (CV, publication, professionnal printing, etc.). PDF cannot be modified once saved and it has the nice feature of being always identical no matter on which computer you view it, unlike doc format for example. Like svg, pdf is often used as a vector image format for print workers.
