In other words, change the location of a file or folder, take it and move it to another folder. This is a pretty common task with any well organized folder.
Drag and drop
- Open the folder containing files or folders you want to move.
- Open the folder in which you want to move files or folder.
- Place these two folders near of each other on the screen.
- Drag and drop documents from a folder to another.
Right-click
- Open the folder containing files or folders you want to move.
- Right-click on the file or folder you want to move.
- Click on "Cut".
- Open the folder in which you want to move files or folder.
- Right click on any empty space.
- Click on "Paste".
